IKE Micro was founded in 1981 and is privately held. IKE operates from a completely refurbished 14,000 square foot facility. The Company’s core competency is build to print manufacturing of microelectronics and microwave assemblies for the defense and commercial electronics industries. We service customers looking for quick turn around and small to mid-sized production runs. Automated equipment enables us to be a competitive domestic alternative for larger production runs. IKE provides both consignment and turnkey outsourcing options.
Our journey toward success is based on a few Company philosophies:
- Never sell a product. For 30 years IKE has always been a pure play build to print contract manufacturer. You will never see an IKE Micro sensor, amplifier, encoder or switch on our website or in a catalog for sale. Our commitment to build to print keeps us focused on our customers’ products and ensures that we protect the proprietary nature of their designs.
- Reinvest. Even though IKE is a small company, we continually reinvest in our people, facility and equipment. Our employees receive competitive wages and benefits and significant cross-training, our facility is top-shelf, and we ensure IKE has the latest automatic and manual assembly equipment to meet our demanding customer requirements.
- Transparency. IKE has an open door policy with all of its customers. This includes sharing the details of our processes and good communication on scheduling and quality issues. Videos of customer specific processes are available for process validation.
- Maintain a diverse customer base. Our ability to prosper during up and down economic cycles has been dependent on our ability to service various industries. We try to maintain a healthy mix of commercial and defense work, and target industrial, optoelectronics, telecommunications, medical, and wireless military industries.
